Description
This ring is very unusual. It is metal, maybe steel. The band is engraved with the following:-
AEVMARIAORATIAFE.. It ends with a small cross. Some of the letters still have the enamel which would have emphasized them.  I think this may have been a nuns ring.  It is from approx. 1500/1600s  but very hard to date.
